  • Can I request a commission or custom made-to-order piece?
Yes, absolutely! I accept both commission and custom made-to-order requests for clients looking for personalized artwork. Simply reach out via the contact form to discuss your request, including the size, medium, and any specific details you'd like to include. Once I have all the necessary information, I will provide you with a quote and timeline for the completion of your artwork.
  • How does the commission and custom made-to-order process work?
The ordering process is designed to be smooth and personalized. To begin, simply reach out through my website or social media platform to express your interest in commissioning a custom piece of art. I will then work closely with you to understand your vision, including the size, style, and subject matter of the artwork. Once I have a clear understanding of your preferences, I will provide you with a quote and timeline for the completion of the piece. Upon approval of the quote, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to book your spot. This deposit is typically a percentage of the total cost and ensures that I can dedicate the necessary time and resources to your project. Throughout the creation process, I will keep you updated with progress photos and seek your feedback to ensure that the finished piece meets your expectations. Upon completion, the remaining balance will be due before I deliver or ship the artwork.
  • What if I change my mind after I've paid a deposit for my commission?
All deposits are non refundable, so please take the time to ask as many questions as you need.

I’m dedicated to providing a seamless and efficient shipping experience for my customers. For online orders, I strive to process and dispatch your package within 7 business days from the date of purchase. Please note that custom made-to-order items may have longer processing times, which will be clearly communicated during the ordering process. If you have any specific shipping inquiries or require expedited delivery, feel free to contact me, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
  • Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Calculated shipping rates are available at the checkout to ensure you're getting the best rate available for your order based on your location.
  • What is the difference between commission and custom artwork?
Great question! In a nutshell, commissions offer a more personalized and collaborative creative experience, while custom artwork provides a way to tailor existing pieces to your liking. Here's an analogy: Commissioning artwork: Imagine you're an architect hiring someone to design your dream house. You provide the details, and the architect uses their expertise to create a unique blueprint. Customizing artwork: Think of customizing a car. You can choose a different paint color or ad some interior features, but the core design of the car remains the same.
  • Can I buy your prints wholesale?
Yes! Please refer to my Wholesale page for more information.
  • How long does it take to process a custom made-to-order wood sculpture?
Creating a custom piece is a meticulous process that ensures you receive a unique and high-quality artwork. The lead time for custom pieces typically ranges from 4 - 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and current workload. This time frame allows for careful planning, sourcing of materials, and the handcrafting process to meet my high standards. If you have any specific deadlines or need an estimated delivery date, please feel free to reach out, and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. Thank you for your understanding and patience as I work to create a piece that's perfect for you.
  • Is mounting hardware included with my purchase?
Yes, each piece comes with a cleat hanging system kit suitable for the weight of your artwork. I personally use this hardware for pieces in my home. Given that you may have a different hanging preference, I DO NOT preassemble the hardware but the hanging kit will be included.
  • How do you ensure safe shipping?
The finished artwork is both professionally packaged and shipped by a trusted, highly respected, local service provider. The custom shipping crates are lined and filled with ample cushioning to ensure items are securely positioned. All pieces are insured and covered from the time of pickup, during the packing and crating process, and through to delivery. Standard shipping timeframe is approximately 8-14 business days.
  • How do I clean and care for my wood sculpture?
Dusting: Start with a gentle dusting. Use a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth to remove loose surface dirt. A soft brush can reach crevices for a more thorough cleaning. Soapy solution: If your sculpture needs a light cleaning, mix a few drops of wood soap (not dish soap) with warm water. Dampen a soft cloth in the solution, wring it well to avoid soaking the wood, and wipe the sculpture gently. Follow with a damp cloth with clean water to remove soap residue. Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals: Never use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or furniture polish. These can damage the finish and the wood itself.
  • What mediums do you use?
I like to use a variety of mediums in my artwork, including oil paints, water colors, acrylic paints and texture paste, to add depth and dimension. It really comes down to what I'm trying to accomplish, I may use one medium or a combination of all. I focus on using high-quality, professional-grade materials to ensure my artwork is not only visually stunning but also durable and long-lasting. Whether it's neutral acrylics or bold oil paints, I strive to showcase the versatility and beauty of each medium.
  • Are the artworks finished with a protectant sealant?
Yes, all artworks are finished with a high-quality protectant sealant to ensure the longevity and preservation of the artwork. I understand the importance of protecting your investment, and the sealant not only provides a durable finish but also enhances the vibrancy and depth of the colors. This sealant also protects the artwork from dust, moisture, and UV damage, ensuring that your piece will remain in pristine condition for years to come. I'm committed to providing my customers with art that is not only visually stunning but also built to last, and our use of sealants is just one of the ways that we fulfill this commitment. It is always recommended to have your piece installed in an area without direct sunlight, high temperature or humidity. Lights that omit heat are not recommended due to the sensitivity of the inks and mediums used in my pieces.
  • Is there hanging hardware included with my purchase?
Yes, D-rings and wire will be preassembled to your canvas and ready to hang! In the case you prefer to assemble the hardware yourself, please let me know.
  • How do I clean and care for my canvas artwork?
Display: Lighten up, but not too much: Avoid direct sunlight, as it can fade colors over time. Climate control: Keep your canvas art in cool, dry places with moderate humidity. Keep it away from harm: Avoid hanging your artwork near vents, fireplaces, or kitchens where exposure to heat, grease, or moisture can damage it. Cleaning: Regular dust removal: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a feather duster to gently remove dust particles that accumulate on the canvas surface. For stubborn dust or light dirt: If dusting doesn't suffice, dampen a microfiber cloth or a soft, clean linen cloth with a little distilled water. Wring out any excess liquid before wiping the canvas gently in circular motions. Avoid harsh solutions: Never use household cleaners, soap, or abrasive materials, as they can damage the paint or varnish. Let it dry naturally: Once cleaned, allow the canvas art to dry completely in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
